Since we joined farmers in several origins in Cameroon, we have found the overuse of farming chemicals that is harming the whole environment, especially the spray of herbicide before the harvest season, we aim at stopping this, at least not in the coffee farm.
# Smiling people, best pay to farmers and pickers.
We have found the coffee planted acreage is declining in recent years, the main challenge is because of the low purchase price from local cooperatives, and there is only one crop for coffee, which causes farmers tend to cut their coffee trees for other plants.
The only solution is to buy their coffee directly with a fair price, asking them to pay well for pickers, working with them to improve the picking quality, discussing with them about harmful results to the land and nature through farming chemicals, it is a challenge but we are already on the way.
